Version 2.3 Minor release
Changelog:
-
Quit button is now properly (fully) disabled when compiled to the webgl version, as quit does not make sense in that context
-
Further AI balancing and adjustments to default settings in main menu to better match the most common player preferences
-
Removes disabled but visible resume button when the in-game-menu is opened at the end of a game
-
Fixes slight overlapping and misalignment of text in the Main Menu’s about panel summary
-
Randomizes movement when the ball is approaching directly (ie after a point is scored or new game is started), in contrast to before where the computer player’s paddle would simply stay still until the player made the first move
-
Minimizes (but still not completely eliminates) a fairly rare but fatal bug where the ball disappears if sandwiched between a wall and player’s paddle (a full erasure of this bug still remains elusive, as every solution tried thus far has introduced just as many additional issues as it solves). If this bug occurs, simply restart the game via pause menu
-
More that I’m forgetting/didn’t get around to digging up from my Github PR’s/issues/commit history. May update later.
